Maybe it's just me, but I've never had this happen. I bought a BIN tonight for a doll and some items, and held off paying right away in hopes she would post a few more things. When I did get the invoice about an hour later, she'd upped the shipping by 4.00 more than she had in the listing. I know it's just four dollars, but it sort of ticks me off, especially when it's still 10.00 in the listing description itself. Has this happened to anyone else?

I would do one of two things. . .either pay from the invoice you get from ebay which will state the original shipping charge or send a gracious email wondering if perhaps there is a misunderstanding regarding the shipping fee - as the invoice differs from the original listing. I'm sure you'll get an apologetic response. Good luck!

I'm sure she's not allowed to do that. If there is a shipping charge printed in the auction, she needs to stay with that amount. You can send her a very nice email, telling her you noticed that the shipping on the invoice was different than what was posted on the auction, and you wondered if she had made a mistake. I've heard of sellers that try to charge more for shipping, if they didn't get as much as they hoped for in their auction, so it does happen.

I would definitely ask her about it -- maybe she made a mistake. If it's $10 in the item description, she needs to honor that (unless you mutually agree to pay more).

To answer your question- NO you are not over-reacting. I wouldn't pay more than the listed shipping.

Thank you all! I did send her a nice email, but haven't heard back yet - I hope it was just an honest mistake!
